The ideal number of players for memory is 3. One player takes the role of line referee and the other two players as competitors. However, memory is a game that can also be played with 2 players. In two player version, one player is in the role of the line referee and the other player is the competitor. Each player and the line referee has 24 memory beads of 6 different colors in the line up area. The line referee keeps the competitors away from the game table, creates a 12-row line using memory beads and invites the players to come close to the game table. 15 seconds are given to players to memorize the line of 12 colored beads. At the end of the time, the line referee closes the line up area. The players try to line the order formed by the line referee in their own playing field within 1 minute. After the players complete the line up, the result can be determined in two different ways; 1-The player who makes the first mistake in the ranking loses the game. 2-The player who places the most correct beads in the line up wins the game. Memory is a fun game that has a positive effect on the development of hand-eye coordination, attention, memory, motor skills, counting and color differentiation as well as a good educational material.
