HOW TO PLAY?

EXPLANATION

"Written sources indicate that the history of the game dates back to the 18th century and that the country where it was first played was Canada. Crokinole, which is still widely played all over the world, has a version that is played not only by hand but also with cues, just like billiards.Crokinole has had the distinction of being a world championship game since 1999.On the crokinole playing surface, the outer circle is 5 points, the middle circle   10 points, and the inner circle is 15 points. The area in the middle where the discs are tried to be dropped into is worth 20 points. The space around the playing field is called the Crokinole. Crokinole is played with 12+12 wooden discs. The game is played with two people or in two teams of 2 people each. Who starts the game is decided by each player's free throw. The player or team that throws closest to the center starts the game. The game progresses clockwise. During the game, the game board and the seats of the players cannot be moved. However, the player can change his position on the seat without losing contact with his seat and with both feet touching the ground. Each player may not touch the game board in any way or place their discs on the playing surface until it is their turn to throw. No player may throw outside of the vertical lines on the field of play, which remain within his own sitting area. No more than half of the disk can be outside the bounding lines. The first player must try to throw his disc into the  20 points zone in the middle. Even if the opening throw is not 20 points, it must remain in the 15-point area or touch the 15-point line. Otherwise, the disc is removed from the playing field and placed in the Crokinole. If the disc successfully and completely lands on the 20 point zone, it is removed from the field of play and is taken out of the field to be counted as 20 points at the end of the round. If the disc does not land in the 20-point zone and stays in the 15-point zone, the next player uses a throw to drop that disc into the Crokinole. If, as a result of this throw, he misses the disc or fails to drop it into the Crokinole, the disc is removed from the playing area and placed back in the Crokinole. You can try different techniques by hitting the discs belonging to you or your opponent on the playing field during the throw. The disc that does not touch the opponent's disc during the throw and another disc of the throwing player are removed from the playing field and placed in the Crokinole. A shot coming back from the playing surface is considered out of play and the disc is placed in the Crokinole. If there are discs that this disc moves during the return to the playing field, they are not touched. A disc that touches the throw line after it has been moved is considered out of play and placed in the Crokinole. Scoring starts when all the discs are moved, that is when there are no discs left in the trench.WARNING: Players who want the playing surface to be more slippery can spray the surface with silicone spray or pour talcum powder or vegetable starch into the trench area and rub the base of the wooden discs into these powders.Scoring; - At the end of the round, each player calculates the total score of his discs in the scoring circles. - Discs touching the throw line are excluded from scoring. -The discs that touch the circle line are evaluated with the score of the circle outside of it. - Discs falling into the middle gap are evaluated as 20 points. -After calculating the total score of the players, they are subtracted from each other. The resulting score is accepted as the lap point of the player or team scoring the extra points.-The rounds continue until the finishing score determined at the beginning of the game is achieved. Crokinole is an effective game and educational material on fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, intuitive understanding of physics and plane geometry."
