Shuffleboard is a fun disc gliding game thought to be around 500 years old. The original Shuffleboard game is a game played on special tables with the shortest length of 9m and also longer lengths. However, due to its popularity, forms that can be carried more easily and played by everyone have also been produced. Game Preparation; Silicon spray is sprayed on the shuffleboard M sliding area. 2-3 minutes after silicone sprayed, vegetable starch is sprinkled on the sliding area and the surface is cleaned without pressing with a dry cloth after 1 minute. Shuffleboard M game is played with two players. Each player has their own 4 discs. The player to start the game is determined by draw. The player who wins the draw gets the first disc slide. The number of points the game will be completed is determined at the beginning (15 or 21) and the player who collects this number wins the game. Game; Each player can only slide one disc at a time. The player who slides their disc steps aside and the turn passes to the other player. On the sliding area, the goal is to get your disc to reach the highest score zone. Of course, another important strategy here is to push the other player out of the high score or sliding area. After each player slides 4 discs, points acquired are calculated by entering the area where the discs have been slid. The first player to collect the score (15 or 21) wins the game. Scoring; The player whose disc is the closest to the edge of the table gets the point, the other player gets no points. In addition, if any of the discs of the player is behind the opponent's last disc in their playing field, they cannot gain points from those disc or discs while the total points are determined with the following scoring method. The disk that falls outside the sliding area has no point value. Of the discs remaining in the 1 point zone, the disc closest to the game starting area is considered zero. Discs that are placed in the 2 points zone are counted as 2 points whereas discs placed in the 3 points zone are counted as 3 points. Disc that surpasses the edge of the 3 points zone and is not fallen out of the sliding area is counted as 4 points. Discs remaining on the lines separating the score zones are calculated as if they were in the low score zone.(Example; The disc that touches the line between 2 and 3 is calculated as 2 points.)
